Synopsis: Thor confronts Hela, and demands she release Sif. Hela simply laughs at him, and Thor charges her, intent on forcing the issue. Hela simply swats him back to the edge of the ruins. Thor stands up and charges up Mjolnir, and sends it hurtling towards Hela. Hela waves her hand, and Mjolnir stops in mid-air in front of her, shocking Thor. Hela then sends it back at Thor, slamming into him full force and knocking him out. Sif struggles more-so at seeing Thor fall, and Hela drops her, telling her to go to the side of her prince, as he may yet still draw breath. Sif demands to know why she so desperately seeks Thor's death when he has done nothing. Hela tells her that the sins of the father are passed to the son. She seeks to bring pain into Odin's life by taking his son from him. Sif draws a knife and lunges at Hela, but she is stopped short. Thor then rises, and makes Hela an offer. He will go willingly with Hela, if she releases Sif. Hela is astonished. Never has she heard such an offer, and Thor tells her that she has then never known love. Sif's life means more to him that his own. Hela slowly reaches out for Thor, but at the last second, she cannot do it. Knowing that he had given his life so nobly for the life of another, would make Odin proud of his actions, and if that's not what Hela wants. Hela then decides to release them both, but warns them. All roads lead to Hel. Thor and Sif embrace passionately. They seperate, and Thor tells her that they should continue in more pleasant surroundings. She asks how they are going to get down - fly? Thor holds up Mjolnir and smiles. Sif says that he's finally proven himself wothy, to which Thor replies that he has now, and they fly towards home.

I'm still upset that this is the last issue, as I loved this series. The one little bit of news we had about the relaunch has now been rescinded, so we're back to knowing nothing. But at least for the next 6 months, we've got Mike and Andrea giving us the Beta Ray Bill miniseries, and so far it's awesome!
