"The Madness of Mongoose"

Synopsis:  In New York, Sigurd Jarlson looks up his old boss Jerry to see about work.  Onsite, he is attacked by the Mongoose, who is sent by an unknown master.  With Spider-Man’s help, they drive him off, but during the battle, Eric Masterson is hurt badly.  Before escaping, the Mongoose knocks out the support pillars, but Thor manages to support the entire building while Spider-Man braces it so it won’t collapse.  In Asgard, the Grand Vizier sends Hogun across the dimensional rift to Earth to learn the fate of Thor.

"Quicksand Kills"

Synopsis:  Hogun has crashed to Earth, but a head injury causes him to see demons instead of people, and he is eventually engaged in battle by Daredevil.  Sigurd and Jerry meet up with Eric and tag along on a construction bid, but the plant is attacked by Quicksand.

Synopsis:  Quicksand manages to escape Thor and goes to the central room and sets the reactor to overload.  In Asgard, the Demons of Death attacks and retreats again, and Heimdall is unable to locate where they are striking from.  Hogun continues to battle Daredevil, but at a moment’s respite is shot down by a SWAT team.  Thor opens a dimensional portal and sends the entire plant to a nameless dead planet where it explodes harmlessly.

Synopsis:  Hogun is taken to the hospital, where he undergoes emergency surgery to save his life.  In the same hospital, three mortals are deceived by Seth and given powers, to try and kill Hogun.  While in a coma, Hogun is visited by Seth, and has his mark burned into his face.  In Asgard, Balder decides that he must recall the power of Thor for defense, even if it means leaving Thor himself helpless.

Synopsis:  On Earth, Hogun has recovered and been released into Thor’s custody.  With the help of Earth Force, they trick Grog into taking them to Seth’s dimension.  But Seth has already begun his assault of Asgard itself, and Balder has no choice but to use the Celestial Siphon to drain Thor’s powers into himself.  Which leaves Thor helpless before Grog and Seth’s army.
