Synopsis:  The warriors of Asgard and the Avengers battle the forces of Surtur, and are losing ground, until the arrival of the 82nd Airborne.  Thor heads to Asgard to try to stop Surtur.  Roger Willis and the Human Torch head to England to try to stop the winters from the Casket.  In Asgard, Surtur has defeated Heimdall, and now Thor stands in his way.  Frigga is leading the children from Asgard, when they are stopped by a Troll.  Back on Earth, shards of color fill the air because Surtur has shattered Bifrost.  Enraged, Sif rallies the Einherjar to carry out Bill's plan.  Thor throws his best blows at Surtur to no avail.  Surtur defeats him and makes his way towards Asgard, with only Odin standing in his way.

Synopsis:  Surtur is in Asgard to reclaim the Eternal Flame that Odin and his brothers stole at the beginning of time.  Surtur and Odin hurl themselves at each other, sending shockwaves throughout the Nine Worlds.  In New York, Mr Fantastic has a plan, but it involves capturing the demon's war gate.  Elsewhere, Roger plans on finding and putting the Casket back together to end the winter storms.  The Human Torch leads the demons away, while Roger begins work.  Back in New York, Sif leads the Einherjar into Bill's trap, as Tyr and Skurge lead their forces, and devastate the demons.  Meanwhile, Bill and Mr Fantastic capture and shut down the gate.  Back in Asgard, Surtur is surprised by Odin's power and calls upon all the winters in an effort to stop Odin.  Elsewhere, the children of Asgard have a plan to get past the Troll.  And back on Earth, the heroes go through the gate to confront the demons at their entry point into the Earth dimension.  Back in England, Roger has only one piece left, but he can't get to it, it's completely frozen in place.  But suddenly, all the ice, snow, and cold are gone without a trace, called to Asgard by Surtur.  But with the ice gone, the Dark Elves are loose again.  In Asgard, Surtur has used the cold to completely imprison Odin, as Surtur goes to the Eternal Flame, and lights the sword Twilight.

"Doom II"

Synopsis:  With Thor and Odin out of the way, Surtur goes to light the sword Twilight in the Eternal Flame, but nothing happens.  Loki reveals that it was him that hid the real flame and replaced it with an illusion.  Loki and Surtur battle, with Loki leading a merry chase, until Surtur discovers the real flame.  Back in England, Roger and the Human Torch escape from the Elves and begin heading home.  After putting the final piece in place, Roger closes the lid, which returns the winter imprisoning Odin to the Casket.  Thor has revived as well, and father and sons face off against Surtur.  Back on Earth, Beta Ray Bill and the heroes finally defeat the last of the demons.  Surtur and Odin grapple to the last, falling into the chasm of Muspelheim, which seals up behind them.

Synopsis:  With the disappearance of Surtur and Odin, the demons are routed and begin to disappear back to Muspelheim.  Back in Asgard, Hela has sensed Odin's passing and comes for him.  Thor strikes her relentlessly and sends her fleeing back to her realm.  Sif barely manages to get back to Asgard because with the Rainbow Bridge gone, passage is almost impossible.  While Sif and Thor plan on how to bring the Asgardians home, Lorelei and Loki continue their plans.  Thor leaves Asgard and goes wandering in the wilderness, but Hela, still smarting from her abuse at Thor's hands, kills his horse just as an avalanche is upon him.  Back on Earth, in Chicago, Fandral goes to Don Blake's office to give Nurse Stevens and Mrs Barclay their severance pay and to tell them and Shawna that SHIELD had need of Don and he may not be coming back.  The charms he gives them will cause them to forget Don Blake.

Synopsis:  Thor awakens to find himself in the home of a gigantic man, and the ice sculptures that serve him.  Back on Earth, Bill, Sif, and the Warriors Three walk around Earth, while the GLF attacks.  Thor thinks his host is Odin, but Tiwaz proves that he is not him.  Tiwaz helps heal Thor's spirit and sends him on his way to help guide Frigga and the children home.  Meanwhile, Loki convinces Lorelei to help him in his quest for the throne.

Synopsis:  Thor comes under the sway of Lorelei's love spell.  Meanwhile, the GLF are planning their next attack - the Federal Reserve Bank.  Back in Asgard, Lorelei is using her potion to convince Thor that Loki should be king.  Back on Earth, the GLF attack, but are interrupted by Beta Ray Bill.  During the battle, Sergei reveals that their leader is really the Titanium Man, turning the rest of the GLF against him.  In Asgard, Lorelei goes to tell Loki of the trap sprung for Thor, but when she arrives, the Enchantress' spell takes effect, and she falls madly in love with Loki.

Synopsis:  In Asgard, Heimdall and the others discover Lorelei's spell, and concoct a plan to free him.  Heimdall knows of the Enchantress' spell, and the convince Thor to fly to Loki's castle to tell him that they have all been convinced that Loki should have the throne.  Once there, though, he sees Lorelei and Loki in bed together, sending him into a rage, overcoming the spell temporarily.  Thor hurls Mjolnir into the sky, then grabs Loki by the throat.  If Loki doesn't undo the spell before the hammer returns, Loki's head will be in the way.  Freed from the spell, Thor returns to Asgard and begins the task of bringing the Asgardians home from Earth.

Synopsis:  The Asgardians have finally returns home, only to discover that the All-Father is gone.  Thor is determined to free the mortal souls trapped in Hel, and summons Angerboda to learn the way to Hel.  She tells him that the entrance is found in the shadow of the Hel-Hound Garm.  Nine days ride will then bring you to the river Gjoll, and the bridge Gjallerbru, guarded by Modgud, and beyond the bridge lies the Helgate.  That night, Thor, Balder, the Executioner, and the Einherjar ride for Hel.
