Synopsis:  The shooting of a young man sets off a race riot outside the clinic, while Blake tries to save his life inside.  Thor then tries to quell the riot, but the boy dies due to a weak heart.

Synopsis:  In Asgard, Sif mourns over Thor's decision to leave her to stay on Earth.  She is interrupted by Tyr, who pledges his love to her and demands that she return that love.  On Earth, Blake is headed to the review for his disappearing last issue, leaving his patient alone, when a construction crane begins to topple off of a building.  After saving the bystanders and returning the crane, Blake arrives to the review a few minutes late, which does not start the review well.  They charge him with abandoning a critical patient on the table, but Blake had completed the surgery successfully, but didn't know he had a weak heart.  In Asgard, Tyr has found an old law that states Thor cannot leave for Earth unless the other gods vote for it, and he is sent by Odin to escort Thor back.  Tyr arrives on Earth and immediately begins to attack, barely giving Blake time to change.  Thor defeats Tyr, then decides to return to Asgard to find out what's going on.

"Serpent From the Heavens"
Tales of Asgard - "Last Flight of the Valkyries!"

Synopsis:  Thor has dragged Tyr back to Asgard and discovers the law that has been invoked.  Sigyn goes to Loki and tells him the news of the vote and he decides to take a hand in it and frees Maurglon on Earth.  The vote is deadlocked when a messenger tells Odin that Maurglon is free on MidgardSif comes in and breaks the tie by voting to let Thor go to Earth as he pleases.  Thor flies to Earth to battle Maurglon.  When he arrives he overhears a couple discussing him leaving her there to go to Boston for a job.  Maurglon then bursts through the ground and puts the young couple in danger.  Thor battles all the more passionately, finding inspiration in their love for each other.  Later, Doctor Jeffries calls Blake to tell him the review is unnecessary now because of a budget cut that will close the clinic entirely.

"Acts of Destruction"

Synopsis:  Don Blake is brooding over having no career again, when he gets a call from Shawna.  She asks him to come to Chicago to attend a medical seminar.  Moondragon is in space, dwelling on her uncertain future as well, and decides to look in on her father Drax.  Drax is in space and encounters a group of creatures and begins to attack them in the hopes of being destroyed himself.  Thor goes to Avengers Mansion in the hopes of company, but finds only Jarvis.  Just then, Moondragon arrives with Drax with one of the alien creatures attached to his head.  Drax comes to and begins attacking everything.  Thor uses lightning to remove the creature who then bets them to kill it.  It's despair at a lack of purpose rings familiar to all three of them.  Drax and Moondragon decide to return the creature to it's home.

"The Thunder God and the Bi-Beast"

Synopsis:  Don and Shawna go to the museum and view the Viking exhibit, where they see a silver chalice.  Later, while Blake is working on setting up his offices, five people change into the beast forms of the Menagerie.  They put Blake to sleep then go out for a night on the town.  Blake awakes and changes to Thor to go after them.  He tries to put them back into the chalice, but there is a spell preventing it.
