"...Like a Diamond in the Sky!"

Synopsis: Thor, along with the Avengers and Nick Fury with SHIELD are planning to take out FAUST. Thor and Iron Man transport inside FAUST, while the rest of the heroes prepare Project 13 in case they fail. Thor and Iron Man begin to be assaulted by the multiple defenses of FAUST. FAUST reveals that it has absorbed the contents and properties of the chest that was stolen by Stilt-Man, and, if they attack, it will fire a laser designed to destroy New York. Then Iron Man has figured it out and attacks. The laser blast disperses harmlessly in the sky and FAUST begins to self destruct. Iron Man reveals that Thor's lightning changed the properties of the chest, so that when FAUST absorbed it, it unwittingly altered it's own structure to no longer be adamantium.

Synopsis: Flying overhead, Thor sees a bully picking on a smaller child. After having run the bully off, Thor tells the children of the time he was bested in contests by Utgard. After his tale, Harris Hobbs tells Thor that he's going to shoot a documentary on location in Asgard.

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow Bridge!"

Significant Events: 1st appearance of Red Norvell
Synopsis: Hobbs tells Thor that he started to remember Asgard after Thor caused him to forget all those years ago. Thor tells him that he shall ask Odin about it, then leaves. Then a mysterious figure tells Hobbs that he believes him. Hobbs then tells the stranger of a second dream that he didn't get to tell Thor. A dream of Thor fishing for Jormungand. Hymir cuts the line loose, freeing the serpent. The stranger reveals himself to be Loki, who tells Hobbs that he will get him into Asgard. Thor then flies to Stark International to retrieve what's left of FAUST. On carrying it out of the building, he sees Jormungand. Thor goes to attack, only to have the serpent disappear. Thor then goes to Asgard, where Heimdall tells him that both Odin and Sif are gone. Hobbs and crew fall out of the device that Thor brought with him, when Loki reveals himself and that Ragnarok comes with him.

"The Eye and the Arrow!"

Synopsis: Loki is going on about Ragnarok, while Hobbs and crew begin filming. Loki transforms into a rat and scurries away underneath a statue of Odin. As Thor is lifting the statue, Odin returns. Odin tells them of how Hugin and Munin came to him to tell him of the coming of Ragnarok. Of how he went to Mimir and gave his eye for knowledge of how to forestall it. He then tells of going to Hel to confront Volla, and upon his return of coming across Hoder. Sif then returns with the goddesses of Asgard, including Frigga. Odin, Thor, and Frigga go inside to converse, while the rest decide to test Balder's invulnerability. Hobbs goes to warn Thor, while Loki gives Hoder an arrow tipped with mistletoe. Thor arrives too late as the arrow pierces Balder's heart.

"A Balance is Struck!"

Synopsis: Loki delights in Balder's death. Odin sends Hermod to Hel to try and retrieve Balder, while Hobbs and crew continue filming. Red tries to hit on Sif, but she dismisses him. Loki then tells Red that he knows a way he can have Sif and the power of Thor, and they disappear. Elsewhere, Thor consults Mimir, then flies from Asgard. Loki and Red have gone to Jotunheim to stir up the Giants, but Thor is right behind. Loki summons up an axe and begins to battle Thor. Loki is besting Thor because he cast a spell that Thor would be weakened by half while in Jotunheim. Thor calls forth his Belt of Strength, augmented by the belt, Thor makes short work of the Trolls and Loki. While Thor was gone, Hermod has returned and tells Odin that if all things will weep for Balder, Hela will restore him. But all things do except for Thokk. Odin then gives up a portion of his own life force to put Balder in stasis, so he cannot totally die.

Significant Events: Origin of Red Norvell
Synopsis: Loki prompts Red to put on Thor's Belt of Strength. Red goes to Bilskirnir while the trial of Loki begins. Red steps into the Fire of Geirrodur with the Belt and gloves and gains the power of Thor. Red then breaks in and attacks Thor, taking Mjolnir from him. Odin tells everyone to not interfere. Red and Thor battle with Red getting the better of him. As Red is about to deliver the death blow, Joey jumps between them, resulting in his death. Red tells Sif that she either comes away with him, or he destroys the shield around Balder, and she has no choice.

Synopsis: Loki reveals what he has done, and gladly recounts of how it all came to be. Loki tries to escape, but is caught and taken to his Place of Judgment. Sigyn begs Frigga to intercede, and Odin allows her to go to Loki. Elsewhere, the Forces of Darkness, under the command of Hela, push on towards Asgard. In Alfheim, Sif tells Red that she knows how Red gained the power of Thor.

"At Long Last...Ragnarok?!"

Synopsis: Hela and the Forces of Darkness stand outside the gates of Asgard. In Alfheim, Sif confronts Red with the knowledge that he cannot force her love. In Asgard, the Forces of Darkness attack, and Loki is at the forefront. But Thor has only a sword instead of Mjolnir. Then the bridge that Thor and Loki are fighting on collapses, heralding the arrival of Jormungand! Jormungand's tail lashes out, knocking Thor out. The Warriors Three try to help, to no avail. Just then, Red arrives with Sif. She finally convinced him to do the right thing. But even though he has Mjolnir, he doesn't have the skill for it, so he returns the hammer to Thor. Jormungand then dives back underground, taking Red with him. But before Thor can follow, they somehow are transported some distance away from Asgard, as are the Forces of Darkness. Just then, Jormungand returns without Red. Thor begins to hammer the serpent relentlessly, finally driving it away for good. Hela, realizing that the prophecies are wrong, calls all the forces away. Thor carries Red back to Asgard, where Odin explains his plan to fool the prophecies, with the death of Red in place of Thor. Thor then tries to leave for Earth, but Odin tells him that if he leaves Asgard, he can never come back, but he leaves anyway.

"A Hammer in Hades"

Synopsis: Back on Earth, Thor thinks back to a time shortly after Jane failed to become a goddess. Both Jane Foster and Thor are strangely drawn to a spot out in the woods, where the ground opens up, and demonic tentacles capture Jane, then the ground closes up again. Thor follows, only to find Jane a captive of Pluto. Pluto then reveals his ally in vengeance - Loki. Loki then summons Ulik to battle Thor. Thor and Ulik battle back and forth, until Ulik discovers that he is but the pawn of Pluto and Loki. Enraged, Ulik begins to attack Pluto. After saving Pluto from Ulik, and sending Ulik back to Asgard, Pluto releases Thor and Jane back to Earth, with Jane's memory erased of her ordeal.

"Crisis on Twin Earths!"

Synopsis: Thor is walking along an avenue, unaware that he is being followed. When suddenly, a doorway opens in the air, and through it steps Hyperion. This Hyperion wants to ask the Avengers to be in a movie that his world is making about his life. Thor agrees to take him to Avengers Mansion, and while they are not looking, the mysterious figure that had been following Thor flies through Hyperion's doorway, where he reveals himself as the alternate Hyperion. After a few minutes though, Thor and the "good" Hyperion arrive, after not finding anyone at the Mansion, Hyperion offered Thor a tour of his world, which was accepted. Hyperion leaves Thor for a minute to check on his ship, he is ambushed and captured by the "evil" Hyperion. The evil Hyperion then goes back down and pretends to be Mark Milton. Just then Emil Burbank, Hyperion's arch enemy, attacks. The evil Hyperion flies off with Emil, where the truth is revealed. Back on the film set, the good Hyperion has returned with the entire Squadron Supreme. When it's revealed what happened, Emil and the evil Hyperion are defeated by Thor and the Squadron Supreme.
