Synopsis: Thor manages to
gram Mjolnir before 60 seconds are up. Meanwhile, Ulik and his army of
trolls attack the surface. Thor and the other earth-bound heroes try to
stop them. They manage to defeat them and send them back to their caves,
but Fandral tells Thor that Balder has gone mad.

Synopsis: Thor returns to Avengers Mansion to find Balder gone mad. So he and the rest of his party, save Volstagg, return to Asgard to confront Odin. They arrive in Asgard, only to find the Asgardians gone, and it overrun with lizardmen. They tell Thor a tale of them being former slaves of the Vrellnexians, but after the Asgardians travel to the Golden Star and defeat them, the lizardmen turn on them.

Synopsis: The battle is great, but the Asgardians are defeated. Thor awakens in a dungeon, and discovers that the food is drugged, keeping the rest of the Asgardians enthralled. Thor breaks free, and frees Hildegarde and Tana Nile who have yet to be drugged. They meet up with Gregor and his resistance and agree to help them overthrow Sssthgar and the Vrellnexians. They destroy the drug factories and abandon Sssthgar to the former slaves of Golden Star, but not before he tells Thor that Sif was sold to some miners in the Dark Nebula

Synopsis: The Asgardians
travel to the Dark Nebula, there they are attacked by the miners, who think that
they are raiders coming to attack again. Once they are defeated and
realize who they are, they offer to help. They begin to check with the
Alterian miners who deal in slaves, when they are attacked by Mercurio and his
army. While they are fighting, the three miners surrender themselves to a
gigantic jewel in their mine. The jewel then erupts from the surface and
Thor sees that Sif and Karnilla are trapped within the jewel. The voice of
the jewel tells them that if they come any closer, they will die.

Synopsis: Xorr causes a
vibration that knocks everyone out. When they awake, they are deep
underground. Meanwhile, Xorr tells Sif and Karnilla his origin. It
then blasts off the asteroid, with the Asgardians and Mercurians in hot pursuit.
They board their vessel and defeat the miners, but when Thor goes to rescue Sif,
he realizes he cannot free her from the jewel without killing her.

"Where Chaos Rules!"

Synopsis: Thor tells
everyone to back off, and the Mercurians are driven off. Back in Avengers
Mansion on Earth, Balder has come to his senses, and he and Volstagg return to
Asgard. Back in space, Xorr has begun consuming a star, but it is too much
and he explodes, and the Mercurians begin collecting the debris.

"All Swords Against Them!"

Synopsis: The Asgardians
return home, only to find imposters in their place. As they battle, Thor
knocks the false Heimdall from Bifrost, where he changes image to an unknown
man, then vanishes. Thor returns to Asgard, where he and Sif are trapped
by the false Balder, who then reveals himself as Igron. Balder comes from
behind and knocks Igron out, and the spell fades, as does the false gods.
After the true Asgardians are revealed, Odin tells Thor about a menace that
approaches from space.

"Where Pass the Black Stars There Also Passes...Death!"

Synopsis: Odin has
commanded that Thor go to Rigel, and with him shall go Balder, Sif, Tana Nile,
and Silas Grant. Meanwhile, Krista finds a glowing stone and seems to be
possessed by it. The Asgardians arrive on Rigel, only to find it
abandoned. The Colonizers have all fled before the arrival of the Black
Stars. Only the mutant class remains, and they attack. The
Asgardians defeat the mutants, and upon hearing their tale, take them all aboard
their ship. Just then, the Black Stars arrive, and destroy Rigel.
The Asgardians catch up to the Colonizer fleet where they learn the origin of
the Black Stars.

group go to the Black Stars, where they are attacked by Avalon, who then tells

attacked by the Protector, but it is destroyed by Thor. They then see the
masters of the Black Stars, against which, Thor is microscopic.

Synopsis: Thor goes to attack Kragonn, but is swatted away easily. Kragonn then orders Dracus to determine what is wrong, and he sends Exterminators. The Exterminators are defeated, while the Rigellian outcasts eavesdrop on the giant masters of the Black Stars. They learn that Rhun is the only living planet of the Black Stars, the other four have died off without Rhun's knowledge. When the truth is revealed, the Caretakers are free to go.
