Synopsis:  Thor and the Recorder are revived by the Wanderers, while Galactus and Ego continue their battle.  The Wanderers and Thor seek to stop Galactus.  Using Mjolnir, Thor channels enough energy to cause Galactus to flee.  In Gratitude, Ego offers the Wanderers a home - himself.

Synopsis:  Thor goes to Earth in search of the missing Sif.  When he arrives, he discovers the military camped around a massive energy vortex surrounding a science building.  He enters the vortex and he discovers the captive Sif, but is promptly attacked by Mutates.  He rescues her, only to discover that Pluto is behind it all.

Synopsis:  Thor goes in search of Him and the captive Sif.  Enraged, he lashes out, bludgeoning Him until he is force to return to his cocoon and flee.  Odin, decides that in penance for succumbing to Warrior Madness, Thor must exile himself in space and search for Galactus.

"This World Renounced!"

Synopsis:  Thor has been sentenced to search all the cosmos for Galactus.  While his ship is being prepared, he is allowed to visit Earth, possibly for the last time.  Meanwhile, Loki and Karnilla plan a trap for Thor and Balder.  Using a mystic doll of clay, they strike down Balder just as he is arriving on Earth.  Thor notices Balder in his hospital and changes to Don Blake.  Just then Loki strikes with the intent of stealing MjolnirOdin appears and tells him that whoever is holding Mjolnir must search for Galactus.  So Loki drops the cane and flees.  Blake then saves Balder's life and flies to Asgard to meet his fate.

"Galactus Found"

Synopsis:  Thor sets off in search of Galactus.  Meanwhile on Earth, the Warriors Three visit the recovering Balder.  And in Communist China, they have created an unstoppable robot monster called the Thermal Man and launch him to the United States.  The Warriors Three and Balder swear to protect the Earth while Thor is gone.  Thor finally finds Galactus, but is rendered helpless, while Galactus tells Thor his tale.

Synopsis:  Galactus continues telling Thor his origin.  When he is done, Odin appears and tells him that his penance is done and he has learned what he wanted.  He then transports Thor to Earth, just as the Warriors Three and Balder are about to attack the Thermal Man

"The Thunder God and the Thermal Man"

Significant Events:  none

Synopsis:  Thor arrives in time to help try to stop the Thermal Man.  The Thermal Man beats around the Asgardians, until the army launches a missile that causes an implosion, rather than an explosion, that knocks him out.  Thor changes to Blake to save a soldiers life.  Then the Thermal Man wakes back up and lays out all the remaining Asgardians.  As he is about to kill them, Karnilla saves them all, by rescuing Balder and transporting them to her realm.  Thor comes back, and using his power over storms, sends the Thermal Man far out to sea, towards the frozen north.
