Synopsis:  Ares, after saving the gods of Olympus, is shunned for the final time.  He leaves and goes to Earth, and has a son, Alex.  He's trying to raise his son right, and teach him to be a man.  Hermes arrives and tells Ares that the gods need him again, he tells him that if he returns to Olympus, it will be to destroy it, not to save it.  Zeus then has Alex kidnapped, and Ares prepares to go get him back.

Significant Events:  1st appearance of Mikaboshi

Synopsis:  With the kidnapping of his son by Zeus, Ares has returned to his old ways.  The police try to stop him, but they have no chance.  Achilles and two of his Myrmidon transport to Earth and return Ares to Olympus.  For the sake of perhaps his greatest follower, Ares helps Achilles, until they are transported directly into the presence of Zeus.  Ares draws his sword on Hera, tosses Hercules around, and lays out Zeus, and is about to go all out, when Zeus begs Ares to forgive and help them.  That they were wrong for turning their backs on him all this time.  Elsewhere, Alex is being held by Mikaboshi, and plan on turning him into their own God of War with the intent of slaying Ares and Alex taking his place.

Synopsis:  Ares agrees to fight for Olympus until his son is safe.  The Demons of Mikaboshi breach the walls of Olympus, and Ares begins his war.  Meanwhile, Mikaboshi is continuing to mold Alex against his father, and into being a new God of War.

Synopsis:  Zeus is struck down by the forces of Mikaboshi.  Inari offers the help of what's left of his pantheon, but the Olympians must ask for their help.  They refuse and say they will fight on their own.  After more than a year of battle, Alex is finally ready to face his father, after being given the Grasscutter sword by Mikaboshi.

Synopsis:  As Ares and the other Olympians storm the walls of Mikaboshi's castle, Mikaboshi and his demons strike back.  Meanwhile, Inari returns to the other Japanese gods with an offer of water, that he brought from the Olympians.  Mikaboshi's demons devastate the Olympians, and he finally unleashes the new God of War - Alexander.  Armed with the Grasscutter sword, Alex seeks to continue the cycle of patricide.  Zeus, seeing all this sons falling, performs one last act of magic, and frees Alex from Mikaboshi's spell.  Suddenly, the remaining Japanese gods arrive to aid the Olympians, and help to turn the tide.  Freed from the spell, Alex uses the Grasscutter sword, and destroys Mikaboshi.  Later, Ares and Alex are reunited in Africa, where their healers have helped them recover.
