Synopsis:  Upset with Thor, Odin takes half of his power away from him.  Unfortunately, this is the time that Zarrko returns, his memory restored by Loki.  With his power cut in half, Thor is no match for Zarrko's mighty machines.  He agrees to be Zarrko's slave in the future if he promises to not menace this time period.

Synopsis:  Loki convinces Odin that he should go to Earth personally, to stop Thor's love for Jane.  He goes and leaves Loki in power in Asgard.  Using this opportunity, Loki unleashes Skagg the Storm Giant and Surtur to attack and destroy Odin and Thor, while they are on Earth.

Synopsis:  Before he transforms back to Blake, Thor creates a commotion, so that when he does change, no one notices.  He then tells Cobra that he can help him get Thor, if he will return his cane from inside the machine.  Cobra does so, and Blake runs off so he can change back to Thor.  He then defeats them both, but now Jane thinks that Don Blake is a coward, and she leaves him.

Synopsis:  While in his office, Don Blake transforms into Thor, not knowing that Jane is there too.  He pretends to be mad at Don Blake for betraying him, and Jane confesses that she loves Don.  Not trusting himself, Thor leaves, where he flies off elated that she loves him.  Unknown to him, Paul Duval is on his way to New York in order to try to steal Thor's immortality from him.  Duval is really the Grey Gargoyle, who can transform people to stone with a touch.  But Thor defeats him by tricking him out into the ocean, forgetting that his stone body is too heavy to float.

Synopsis:  Thor comes across the weakened form of Doctor Strange, and changing to Don Blake, saves his life. Strange says that if there is any way to repay him, he needs only to ask. Meanwhile, Loki sneaks out of Asgard, and assuming the form of an old man, goes to see Dr Don Blake. He pretends to trip and drop his cane, while stumbling into Blake causing him to drop his. He then picks up the cane and throws it out the window, and then reveals himself to be Loki. When Blake goes outside to look for it, it's gone. He goes to Strange to get help in finding it, and using his spirit form, locates it on a dock being used by two homeless men as a fishing rod. Strange's ghostlike form scares them off, and Blake recovers his cane. He then goes to find Loki and the kidnapped Jane Foster. Calling upon Strange's help again, Jane is rescued and Loki is captured and returned to Asgard once again.

"When Magneto Strikes!"

Synopsis: Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants are in New York looking for the X-Men. When objects start floating by themselves, Thor goes to investigate. Magneto offers Thor the chance to join his Brotherhood, thinking him to be a mutant. Thor declines and they begin to fight. During the battle, Thor is separated from Mjolnir, and changes back to Blake. He manages to hide from Magneto for a time, but before he can continue the battle, Magneto is interrupted by the Brotherhood calling back to say that the X-Men found them instead. During his distraction, Blake manages to get his cane back and change back to Thor. But by then, the X-Men have arrived, and being outnumbered, Magneto flees.

Tales of Asgard - "The Defeat of Odin"

Synopsis:
Loki goes to Earth and posts the bail for both Mister Hyde and Cobra. He then tells them that they are working for him, and together they will destroy Thor. They kidnap Jane Foster, leaving Thor helpless to follow. Thor then realizes that his true foe is Loki, who masterminded the whole thing. But being banished from Asgard, Thor must fight his way back in to confront Loki. Loki reveals the location of where Hyde and Cobra have Jane, but the entire house is one gigantic trap. Loki has also increased their powers so that Hyde is stronger and Cobra is faster than they have ever been before. Thor must fight his way inside, but during the battle, Jane is hurt. Thor stops time around the house so she will not die, and goes off to fight Cobra and Hyde.
