Fraction Appearances: Don Blake, Marie, Balder, Beta Ray Bill, Skrulls, Volstagg, Loki, Nurse McGee Synopsis: Don Blake is with Marie, who is about to have her first baby, when some type of meteor hits Asgard causing a massive explosion. Blake heads to Asgard to see what happened. Balder shows him a body they found at the impact and Thor recognizes him as Beta Ray Bill in his mortal form. Bill gives Thor a message from the Skrulls, they are coming and the Asgardians must leave Earth. Balder and Thor help him to a bed and Thor flies into the skies to create storms to make the people in Broxton take shelter before the Skrulls arrive. While he is gone, Loki plants the seed of doubt in the Asgardians mind that Bill is not who he says he is. When Thor returns, he is just in time to stop them from killing Bill. Thor throws Mjolnir to Bill, who catches it and transforms to his Asgardian form, proving who he is without a doubt. Bill and Balder will lead the defense, while Blake heads back to Broxton to help deliver Marie's baby. By then, the Skrulls are over Asgard. Fraction Appearances: Skrulls, Balder, Beta Ray Bill, Marie, Don Blake, Carl, Fandral, Hogun, Volstagg, Willie, Nurse McGee, Faith Synopsis: Balder, Beta Ray Bill, and the rest of the Asgardians try to hold off the Skrull attack. Meanwhile, in Broxton, Don Blake is assisting Marie in the birth of her child. A couple of the townsfolk with the volunteer fire department decide to go see if they can help their Asgardian neighbors with the fires. In Asgard, a new super-skrull with the powers of Thundra, Titania, Volcana, and Battleaxe and wielding axes made from Stormbreaker charges at Bill. Realizing that they are in over their heads, Carl, Willie, and the others head back to Broxton to see what help they can do there. Back in Broxton, Marie gives birth to a beautiful baby girl that she names Faith. In Asgard, the super-skrull sensed new life in Broxton, and begins heading that way. But in it's way stood Don Blake. Fraction Appearances: Don Blake, Skrull, Beta Ray Bill, Volstagg, Balder, Hogun, Fandral, Faith, Nurse McGee, Marie Synopsis: Don Blake stands between the Skrull and the town of Broxton. Volstagg provides a distraction and Blake grabs Mjolnir and changes to Thor. They battle the Skrull to a standstill, until the Skrull unites the two halves of Stormbreaker and hurls it towards Broxton to destroy the town. Thor intercepts the hammer, and returns it to Bill. Thor then literally drops Asgard on the Skrull, killing it instantly, then he and Bill return it to it's place above the ground. Bill flies off into space to find answers to what happened to him, while Thor flies off to help repel the Skrull invasion. Significant Events: none |
