universe prior to this one
Place of Creation/Birth: Planet Taa in the universe
prior to this one
Known Relatives: None, although
he has spoken figuratively of Death as his brother and Eternity as his father because all
three were created simultaneously. NOTE: Unlike Death and Eternity, Galactus
is a physical, not an abstract being
Known Allies: The Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Thor,
Hercules, Air-Walker 2, Firelord, Morg, (former) Air Walker (deceased), the Destroyer,
Terrax, Dazzler, Nova 2 (deceased)
Known Enemies: Ego, High Evolutionary, Sphinx, the

his vast strength, usually relies on his energy powers in combat
Special Skills/Abilities: Scientific knowledge beyond
the understanding of humanity
Superhuman physical powers: Ability to manipulate
cosmic forces for a virtually unlimited number of effects, including projection of cosmic
energy as a concussive force, molecular manipulation of matter, interdimensional
teleportation, creation of force shields, levitation, physical transformation of other
beings by endowing them with a fraction of his power, and enhancement of his own physical
attributes. The full range of Galactus's abilities has yet to be catalogues, and the
precise limits of his known abilities are unmeasured
Superhuman Mental Powers: Telepathy, ability to
mentally manipulate cosmic energy to reshape matter
Special Limitations: Galactus subsists on the
biospheric energy of certain types of planets, and weakens considerably when in severe
need of energy replenishment. Sufficient depletion of his energy levels could result
in his death. Galactus could also be destroyed by the alien device known as the
Ultimate Nullifier
Source of Superhuman Powers: Recreation in the current
universe as the personification of the balancing force between Death and Eternity
Personal Weaponry: The Energy Converter, a device
capable of destroying planets by reducing them to their basic elements and converting
those into pure energy; various robot servants, including the Punisher (not to be confused
with the human vigilante, Frank Castle)
Origin: Galactus is the sole survivor of the universe that existed prior to the Big Gang that began the current universe. Born on the planet Taa, the being who would become Galactus was a space explorer dispatched to discover if there was any way to survive the rapidly approaching end of the universe. Discovering none, he and a handful of Taa'ns piloted an ancient starship into the heart of the universal core. Somehow penetrating the outer layer of the event horizon, the being who would become Galactus was contacted by the sentience of the Cosmic Egg, that primal sphere of disorganized dense, compact matter of the universe. The Egg merged its essence with him and flung him from its outer locus of existence at the Big Bang that began our universe. The nascent Galactus drifted for eons as life began to come into existence throughout the new universe. Eventually he was sighted and studied by one of the Watchers, an ancient race of beings who had undertaken to observe the events of the universe. The Watchers sensed his vast power and his potential threat to life, but allowed him to continue to incubate. Galactus finally drifted into the orbit of the planet Archeopia, where he emerged upon being attacked by a marauding space armada. Destroying the entire fleet, the newly-born Galactus turned o the planet below and consumed its biospheric energies. Having sated his cosmic hunger, the built himself an immense starbase, then began his long and unending search for worlds to provide him sustenance.
